Study: OC Is Third Priciest Housing Market In America

ORANGE COUNTY (CBSLA.com) — Orange County is the third most expensive housing market in the country, according to the National Association of Realtors.
The median price for a home in OC was $691,000 during the second quarter of this year.
Four of the top five most expensive markets in American are in California
, the group said.
San Jose ranked No. 1, followed by San Francisco, Honolulu and San Diego
.
Los Angeles County came in ninth with a median home price of $420,000.
The Inland Empire ranked 21st with a median price of $274,000, making it pricier than Miami
and Chicago.
